Miko Weaver is an American guitarist best known for his work with Prince in the 1980s. He was born on March 11, 1957, in Berkeley, California, and first came to Prince’s attention as a member of Sheila E.’s band.wikipedia

Work with Prince

Weaver played guitar with Prince’s projects including The Family, The Revolution, and later touring bands. He contributed to the Parade era and then remained in Prince’s live lineup for the acclaimed Sign o’ the Times and Lovesexy tours.princevault+1

Later career and life

After leaving Prince’s camp around 1990 following the Nude Tour, Weaver went on to collaborate with other artists, including giving guitar lessons to actor Eddie Murphy and performing at the Montreux Jazz Festival. In later years he lived in the Netherlands and then Ibiza, Spain, where he played small gigs, DJed, and focused on creating and exhibiting visual art.
